Voyager on SPIKE TV

So is anybody still watching the show on SPIKE? I've been able to catch a few episodes here and there, but haven't caught them all the way through. I caught the episode where Torres is split in two by the Vidiians yesterday, which is a cool episode.

Anyone know how the show is doing ratings wise?

^

The ratings must be decent, considerin' Spike isn't airin' TNG at all anymore and has moved DS9 to the middle of the night, while VOY stays right there with two (or is it three?) episodes every afternoon.

I still catch random episodes now & then, but usually just on my days off.

I watch whenever my work schedule allows me--and I usually fall asleep to the midnight rerun!

Sometimes I'll watch an Voyager episode when I eat supper at 6pm my time (sometimes the last 30 mins if I didn't eat supper until 6:30pm my time)

I watch when I get back from my last class of the day, though my art class runs a bit later so I wouldn't be able to watch then.

I am not sure I can watch Voyager on Spike TV. Reason, it is called the network for MEN. Hey, I am a woman and I watch tv on SPIKE ... that would make me ... OMG

I catch a few eps here and there..sometimes I forget it's on though. I usually watch it before dinnertime. Then it's Wildest Police Videos on TruTV and Most Shocking and of course COPS! :) I sometimes catch a glimpse of Voy though. At least it's getting good ratings cause it's staying on same time and re-running again. :)

...if it makes ya feel any better, I watch Frasier reruns on Lifetime.

:p
Girly man!

Seriously, I never get to watch Voy. on SPIKE. It's over by the time I get home from work.

Hey, exodus! Long time no talk! I sometimes don't make it in time for Voy either..but I at least catch about 30 mins of the last ep for the day. :D It comes on around 3pm our time here. :) And ends at 5pm. :)

Hey freak , long time no hear. Hope everything is going ok for you, sorry I haven't been in better contact.

I miss Voyager completely, I get home just in time to see Jorja Fox's buck toothed face on CSI. I swear, does SPIKE show way too much CSI or what?

I'm going to wait until Season 5 and then watch those seasons again. I keep meaning to do it but don't. I would like to see Season 5-7 again, including Endgame, even though I might be a little afraid to relive that episode again.

I just watched "Endgame" this weekend.

I actually liked it allot better now that I know what to expect.

That's what we used to do, too, about 1970 when TOS first went into syndication -- nice precedent.

!!! Yeah things are going ok..busy but ok. And that's ok about not being in contact. :)
! Yeah, Spike DOES put too much CSI on there..I can't stand that buck toothed girl either! Her lips are always open..and that gap needs replacing..GEEZ! VERY distracting! Anyway, I think they're too many CSI's on TV right now and way too many reality shows.

I have seen many stations cycle through Trek shows in the way described in the quote. It doesn't necessarily mean that VOY's ratings are more decent than the others. It just means that the station has over-saturated the crap out of the other serieses so much, that it cycles them to the back burner for a while.

However, once VOY has also been over-saturated by the station, then chances are VOY too will be cycled to the back burner, and the other Trek shows cycled back to the front burner.

I think Spike has lost the right to air TNG. They didn't want to pay for it anymore. So they only have DS9 and VOY to run now. Spike doesn't care for DS9, like much of the general Trek fandom ;), and have pretty much ignored it in favor of VOY's stand alone episode format.
