I watched the first Season of Discovery and didn't like it enough to watch it anymore.

One more strange Voyager/Discovery link: A distinctly Voyager-style pair of sliding doors were in Spock's padded cell on Starbase 5, and reappeared painted red on the USS Enterprise.

I am a Voyager fan as well.
I've watched the five first episodes and I didn't like it at all.
So now it's back to Voyager Relaunch and DS9 Relaunch on the TV again!
You're getting your wish with the time jump to a new era in season 3, so I hope you'll tune in!
Season 2 was spades better than season 1. I only started season 2 because my husband loved the first season but I admit season 2 pleasantly surprised me. It still has a huge flaw in Michael imo but the rest of the show was well thought out and Captain Pike is a gold mine! Absolutely fell in love with this complex character.
I admit I'm a little worried about season 3 because of the big surprise (which i will not spoil) but the writers did such a good job with this season I'm optomistic they can deliver.
