I was looking at the timeline on google, what ever page i found interesting, after seeing Voyager on the Discovery show in Season 13!! Could Voyager make a return?? THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!!

Made me wonder however. In season 2 of Discovery, and even in S1, what was the time line than? Wasn't the original Voyager shows from that time period? Was Voyager ever in the armada which came to help Discovery fight a time or two?

If they decide to continue the stories, even though it's now the J class of Voyager ship in far future, I think it would be nice if they started the new series where it left off at the end of Voyager, when Captain Janeway became admiral. Maybe one season in that time line, and some how an episode where Voyager itself Jumps ahead for what ever reason. Maybe they arrive in the far future before Discovery does, and Voyager has a season or two before the discovery shows up! Maybe even an episode which touches on The Burn, showing it happening in more detail. IDk... i'm blabbing now!

Voyager back than was always my favorite Series of star trek, and however they bring it back, I think would be awesome to see it back in action!

Discovery was set ~10 years before the Kirk / Spock / Original Series era. Voyager was set over 100 years later.

Also, it is still debatable as to whether or not Discovery is set in the same timeline as the other "Prime" series.

Here's the Voyager-J from Discovery season 3. It's debatable as to whether it's the same ship heavily updated over the centuries (as happens to the USS Discovery, which gains an -A for it) or something brand new.

Also, if you love Voyager the character of Seven of Nine comes back in Star Trek: Picard, set about 20 years after Voyager gets home.

Could be like one CVN-65 USS Enterprise anchor being installed on the CVN-73 USS George Washington. Just a single part passed down from Voyager to Voyager. And knowing Voyager, it probably involves coffee in some way.

Season 13? Thanks, but no thanks.

Shows that reach a double-digit number of seasons have almost always jumped the shark before then.

They also mentioned Deep Space 253. So maybe they should bring back DS9 too with Admiral Sisko.

I don’t have strong feelings about timelines or anything, but I do find the idea that a question is beyond debate because ‘CBS says’ kinda sad.
They control the lore and have said it is the prime timeline, so there is no debate.

There's plenty of other topics in Star Trek you can debate, things that have never been given an definitive answer, but this has one.

They control the lore, so no there is no debate.

But what does that even mean? How can you really ‘control the lore’? What if tomorrow they said that actually it wasn’t part of the prime timeline?

I’m not disagreeing that it is or anything, but these are timelines in a sci-fi show, and we’re on a forum where people debate that show to death. I don’t see why people can’t debate it just because the people who hold the rights say it’s prime.

All hail CBS! Bringer of ‘the truth’.
They control the show, they know what timeline it is in better than the fans do.

As I said above there are plenty of other things in the franchise that can be debated. Things that haven't been given definitive answers in the lore or by the writers. I have nothing against debates on subjects like that.

But ones that can still change on a dime if CBS decides on a new truth?
