1. This contest is centered on the Season six episode Muse. Stranded on a primitive planet, Torres finds she is the inspiration for a playwright desperate to stop a war.
2. The VOY theme as chosen by ria75 will be "Surprise!" (Between the characters, not between us.)
3. The random theme as chosen by es! will be "Star Trek in our culture."

The Rules: Avs not to exceed 140x140 px and not be over 70kb in file size. Avs can be static pictures or animated, just don't go over the restrictions posted previously. One av entry per category. The theme must be Voyager related while the random is just that, random from anything. The contest runs on a bi-weekly schedule so entries will be accepted until May 4, 2009 sometime in the evening.

For the Theme I want to use the scene where Janeway talks to some alien with a weird nose, and he inflates his nose and she looks surprised in a very funny way, but I can't remember what episode it was. Does anyone know?

Excellent.
But may I specify, it's not just about characters looking surprised, but surprising others. Like, "surprise, I'm telekinetic". Oh, I just got an idea. Why didn't I think of it before?

It was my first choice too, but then I thought the white silhouette avatar looked better from afar.
Still, we're among people who know the episode. Of course what would be best is a gif of the beamout but I'm not there yet technically - not to mention busy.

Thank you for the info! Do you mean my Voyager Theme entry? It's from Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy. I kinda have a soft spot for 7/D (although my mates make fun of me by calling this pairing Seven/Dildo )
