Voting: January Challenge-Starfleet Officers Behaving Badly

We've had some excellent entries in this month's challenge, so now it's time to vote. Standard rules apply: two votes per person and the stories are all (except for RoberScorpio's entry and the Interrogation) linked on the challenge thread. Voting will continue until 2/4 3:15 AM EST. So...here goes...

I went with Cassnozzle and The Interrogation.

There were some really funny entries this month - I enjoyed reading them!

I thought the Conversation was hysterical. It caught the flavor of the challenge perfectly, was easily the most unique in style and frankly, made me laugh out loud. The rest of the entries were well done and nearly every one managed to put a smile on my face. I'd like to point out that Sisko's Big Night may seem to miss the "behaving badly" part of the challenge-until you take into account the swearing at the end-NONE of the traditional ST Captains uttered more than Hell or Damn so I guess that's bad behavior. Great month of entries.

i think this should be called, and a new challenge set. we've only got 3 weeks before the change-over to Vbulletin occurs, and it might be an idea to get the challenge done before then to avoid complications...

That's a really, really good idea. I shan't be here of the 24th, I'm trying to get an admin to step up and commit to looking after you all.

But arranging a break between challenges for that week would be a good plan.

I had to go with "The Conversation" and "Shore Patrol". The Interrogation was a very, very close third, close enough to make me wish I'd had a third vote.

Thanks for those who voted... but I went with "Shore Patrol" and "The Conversation".

Shore Patrol had me laughing out loud even though I'm not familiar with the characters.

Which means, i believe, that The Lone Redshirt needs to set the next challenge!

Thanks, all! I had fun writing Shore Patrol! There were some great entries this month and I thank DavidFalkayn for providing us a light-hearted challenge for January!
