Usually I don't quibble over results, but what is so enviable about Indy's life? He gets kicked around and beat up a lot and he looks like an old shoe. He has to give up most of the cool stuff he finds. Han Solo would be a more likely choice; his Jedi buddy even moreso.

He got to travel the world, have super awesome adventures, get the girl (at least three times) and is impervious to a nuclear blast! Who wouldn't want to walk away from a mushroom cloud?!?

In terms of "real life" (aliens and immortality and melting Nazi faces aside), Indy would be the ultimate adventure. Traveling the world, finding lost treasures and artifacts, uncovering ancient mysteries, and a different hot girl every adventure!
