I allowed Ernie because even though Sesame Street deals in make believe, the guest stars play themselves, and I think it's cannon that the characters on Sesame Street refer to themselves as muppets. Simpsons is more of a sitcom then fantasy, even though they have fantasy specials from time to time.

Duly acknowledged. My point was that Ernie clearly does not qualify under the stated rules of the person running the contest.
