I have to say that the way this poll is set up is very confusing. The other avatar polls are much easier to vote in.

Anyway, I think I voted for Ampris and RatBoy x 2.

Yeah, it can be confusing. But (1.) it's not my invention (it was originally Turbo's idea to post this contest; he set up the rules) and (2.) I think it has a big advantage over the other polls: You vote based on the avatar and not the poster. I'm not sure if I should change it. What do the others think?

FWIW I don't vote for names in those contests, but for the avatar I like the most and/or fits the theme the most. And it's not as if someone who wants to vote for a certain poster can't look up which avatar is the one of his candidate anyway.

I have choosen the other way of setting up the poll in the TNG contest because I don't really like to have the pictures in the polls. But that's a personal preference and I don't think this way of conducting the poll is any more confusing than the other.

As Defcon said, this way is no more confusing than some of the other possible ways to set up an av contest poll and, since I've always voted for the avatar and not the name, I think it works fine and don't see a need to do it differently.
