Whew, that wasn't easy. I like many of those.

But I had to pick two. And I think M'Sharak's and orac's avatars are the best in illustrating the idea of madness. I voted accordingly.

Gosh, that was a difficult choice. I had to go with Gary7 and NCC-1701. Immediate next runner up was orac for me.

It started out thin, but filled out nicely towards the end. Lots to choose from... Couldn't decide between the two TWOK Kirk's, so I chose Praetor's for the reference to "Anytime you can bluff me!" (loved that fresh edgy Corbomite atmosphere) and NCC-1701's infamous Spock smashing monitor in all his Vulcan rage.

Congrats, NCC-1701! I'm flattered to tie with you. And thanks for all the votes folks--I thought mine might be too... "disturbing".


So, next theme. Hard to pick as a lot of ground has been covered in the past. I was thinking "The Menagerie" for an episode theme, in the spirit of the 'alternate reality' to the new Star Trek movie (we did the "The Cage" but that is isolated specifically to Pike era material). Or... "The Extras"--focus on the crew who was supportive of the main cast but rarely had dialog and was usually uncredited (which means no guest stars). There are enough screen caps floating around that get good 'extra actor' detail. You can see that by a website effort I had going on that for a while (it's stalled for the moment): Extras and Guest Stars. I'm not sure if that'll be interesting enough... I'll let you make the call, Michael.

Hm, both sound like very good ideas, but I think I'll go with the Extras theme, since it seems more unique. The new contest will be up here in a minute ...
