Which THREE of these make YOU smile?

I voted for Jinxed, Kai and ZR. Looks like Kai is walking away with it.

All thanks to the power of the kittens.

Give me a day or so to come up with a Halloween-theme that's not been done a hundred times. Suggestions are welcome.

How about any animal in a costume? Or costumes of animals to make it a bit of a broader topic? So, "animal costumes". Just an idea.

Or just go with classic scary stuff/monsters/creatures...

Well, I forgot to enter but my votes are cast.
Me too :(

And I had even just found something I could tweak and enter when the vote-thread came up (double :( )

Yup, I know that feel. :sigh: *pats on the back*

Congrats to Kai "the spirit", though. :techman:

I hate animals in costumes. Not the animals themselves, but pictures of them, because I can't help but think they must be very uncomfortable in these things, and they can't even understand what they are for. Makes me want to call the animal protection groups.

Costumes of animals, though, sounds intriguing.

Eh. My doggy used to love her antlers. When I would get them out for Christmas, she'd get excited, run over, and push her head through the headband.

Later she would nibble on them. :D

Cat's don't understand what their collars are for, or why you have to trim their claws so they don't get stuck to the carpet, or why you have to give them a bath. That's why they're the friggin' cats. Millions of years of evolution has made us the dominant species on this planet, and because of that they will wear a cape and take a Halloween picture, dammit. ;)

Besides, my cats are chill. It doesn't even bother them. I take a picture and take it off a minute later, and if they really were upset by it they'd be trying to bite it or scratch it off with their hind legs or they'd be crying about it. They have no problem letting you know when they don't like something.

Collars and claw-trimming has a useful purpose. Putting them in costumes is only for our amusement, that's not how I define 'useful'.

Besides, this discussion has no useful purpose. I said I don't like the idea, therefore I'm not going to use it. That's that.

I didn't ask you to use it in the next competition, did I? And I have no problem with you choosing not to do it with your pets. I was trying to make a humorous reply to your melodramatic judgmentalism and the frankly idiotic idea that a pet in a costume makes you tempted to call animal protection services, especially since there's nothing illegal about it and depending on the group, with their limited space they often end up putting the animals to sleep. So you'd be taking the pets from loving homes (my two cats are from shelters) and possibly condemning them to death because you don't like that they wore a pair of fuzzy ears they don't mind for five minutes on Halloween. Still feeling self-righteous?
