Reminds me of when I did an "Anything But Spock" theme once and everybody made entries with Nimoy in other SF/F appearances.

Waitin' to see if Evil Twin wants to weigh in, but, yeah, thinkin' "rock, paper, scissors" would be a good theme...

...but not with "lizard, Spock."

^Basically the theme would be about letting chance do a decision... so you should allow 'Spock' and 'lizard' to be part of it - but that's just mho.
