I have a proposal, stolen from the DS9 forum. Rather than the lirpa battle to the death between the tied winners (yes, there is still a few minutes left before the poll closes), we put up another voting thread with just the tied entries and see if we can't get a clear winner.

I do realize that entails more work, and, therefore, understand if my proposal is rejected. It is merely a thought.

Not wanting to play favorites and in an effort to calm Star I voted for myself thereby breaking the tie. You can rest easier now.

The results are in!

In the Episode Contest, Chanukah on Vulcan takes the Golden Porthos with his lovely Talas offering ....

We have a tie for Puppy Kisses between yours truly with my Andorian Archer and north star for her good-ole' mischievous Trip....

In the Theme Contest, our top two vote getters blew out the competition. od0_ital takes the Golden Porthos with his "Klingon Shootin' Masterpiece"....

north star gets some more Puppy Kisses for a catfight (that's odd) and a yummy, mirror catfight at that ....

I - Surak - thank all of you for the win and the golden Porthos will be displayed next to the Kir'Shara at my home in the Forge.

odO -ital's suggestion is a great one that will generate a lot of agreeable avatars for the next Theme contest.

For the episode we will again go backwards to my least favorite "Chosen Realm" which is of course ENT dealing with religious zealots and the abortion issue.
No amount of Kolinahr meditation will help me - Surak - find understanding for Pri'Nam D'Jamat and his fellow religious nuts.

I will have the contest up tomorrow.
