A Wrinkle In Time is one of my favorite books from childhood. I also enjoyed the first two sequels, but I haven't read Many Waters yet.

Talking about books - RJDemonicus - have you got around to reading "Dark Tide" about the Boston Molasses Flood and if you have, what did you think of it?

It's part of Madeleine L'Engle's series. The 3rd book in fact, called A Swiftly Tilting Planet. She's really good at characterization.

Thanks for the info. I will let my son to look at the LOOK INSIDE of the book at Amazon to see if it is easier enough for him to read (he is intellectually disabled)

^^ Her books are pretty young-reader friendly. I read Wrinkle In Time when I was in 5th Grade.

I did buy it, but I haven't read it yet. I've been trying to finish Masterharper of Pern, despite multiple distractions, so I can get started on my Halloween reading list. Maybe I'll take a look at it today, though.

Yeah, though I'm finding the 3rd book to be easier to read than the previous ones, because it deals less with surreal locations and more with the family's history.

Deranged Nasat (I just watched The Mothman Prophecies yesterday)
Owain Taggart
Spot's Meow
JiNXed

Another tough decision. I finally went with Owain, Kira, Locutus and Spot's Meow.

Vote 'em if you got 'em, people. You have another day or so.

And thanks for the Votes. I thought I'd be the one with zero this time. Even I barely know what a Pukwudgie is, and I live here. :rommie:

And I declare auntiehill the Winner by a nose. :bolian:

Congrats, auntiehill. The baton has been passed to you. :mallory:
