I think it was just a hard theme to give justice in the restrictions of an avatar. I'm sure if this was a photoshop challenge there would have been more entries .

Bingo. I almost didn't enter one until the idea of a dictionary definition occurred to me. The TrekBBS is hard to turn into an interesting avatar.
