I voted for Firefox, but I would like to specify Firefox 1... I loved Firefox when it first came out, and was what it was... a very basic, no-frills, simple browser that just got you from point A to point B. I hate all of the new crap they stuff into the new versions, and I hate how they got rid of traditional buttons in traditional places, in favor of the tabbed garbage.
Opera comes in second.

I've always been a Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox user. However, I've moved to Chrome some months ago due to some unresolved issue with Firefox on my PC and, also, due to speed on my netbook.
I still prefer the open-ess of Firefox (who knows what information Chrome gathers from my PC without me knowing...) but I noticed that Chrome is much faster, which is convenient for me. A pet peeve is that I can't use spell checking with two languages at once with Chrome.

I've tried Chrome a couple of times, but so far, I've generally preferred Firefox.
I know Chrome is supposed to be faster, but the last time I tried it (over the weekend) it was actually slower to browse the forum than with firefox.

I'm sorry, it is unacceptable to put lynx under some umbrella "other" option. THERE ARE NO SUBSTITUTES.
I voted for Firefox, even though it has become an over-bloated POS like Netscpae was when I dumped it many years ago.
Chrome is good, if a bit under-bloated (ie: a little too bare bones).
I've tried Safari, Opera and Sleipnir (an obvious rip-off/copy of IE, which doesn't inspire a good feeling).
I only use IE at work, for the variety of web-bases apps we have.

I mainly use Firefox, but do have opera, IE and chrome installed.
i voted for Firefox. I got Chrome, Safari and IE installed on my computer as well. I tried them all before but my personnel preference is still Firefox. I never tried Opera before. Maybe i should give it a try.
The funny thing is that i was a big fan of Netscape Navigator browser back in the 1990s. I became a fan of Mozilla Firefox in the 2000s without knowing it was actually a spinoff of Netscape Navigator.

I mostly use Firefox with Chrome coming in a distant second. I can't live without my add-ons.
Opera feels the closest to Firefox out of all of them.
I tried Firefox for a while but wasn't impressed. It was slower than Safari and felt awkward. Haven't had reason to use IE since I stopped working. Haven't tried any of the others.
I actually find Firefox easy to use compared to the others. Plus I don't trust Goggle Chrome and Apple Safari. Who knows what data they could be mining from your web browsing. I have disliked Microsoft IE since the 1990s when the web browser war between IE and Netscape Navigator began. Netscape Navigator lost the war eventually. That was a sad event for me.
To paraphase a quote from the firefly tv series, "I may have been on the losing side, but i am not convinced that i was on the wrong side".

Google Chrome. It functions much smoother than the others, at least for my requirements.
