Vote For The Best Villain In Star Trek!

Ron Tracy- he killed T H O U S A N D S.
Seriously.

If we’re going by body count, I think Nero wins the prize.
Kevin Uxbridge?
Technically, I guess you’re right. But considering that we never met a Husnock, know nothing about them, never heard of them before or after The Survivors, and that they were conceived by the writer for the sole purpose of being wiped out by Uxbridge, it’s hard to care about what happened to them.

Then again, I don’t particularly care about the nuTrek alternate reality either, but that’s just me.

I watched TWOK again last night. And boy, Khan is even hammier than I remembered him. They used the word "superior intellect" a few times during the film, but we never really see evidence of it, he just acts like a madman all the way through.

It's like what Kirk says when he's taunting him.

Kirk (paraphrased): Where's that superior intellect, Khan?

Don't get me wrong, I really like Khan but I never saw an abundance of intellect there. From what I've gathered, all that eugenics accomplished was to create the ultimate jock douche.

I think the line was “I’m laughing at the ‘superior intellect’,” complete with air quotes.

Well, the result was entirely predictable - Khan won. Personally, I don't think he deserves it, but he's been chosen democratically. (I wonder what he'd think about that?)

Khan Noonien Singh has been voted Best Star Trek Villain by readers of Totalscifionline.com and Star Trek Magazine.
The ruthless genetically-enhanced baddie was played by the late Ricardo Montalbán. The character first appeared in the original series episode Space Seed, which ended with Khan and his acolytes being exiled on an inhospitable world. He then re-appeared as the central villain in 1982’s Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, where his devilish deeds included placing Ceti eels in Chekov and Terrell’s ears.

Other memorable villains to receive votes included the slinky Borg Queen, the Machiavellian Gul Dukat and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country’s General Chang.
