Trek is nominated in the following categories:

Best Action Adventure Movie
Best Action Adventure Actress (Zoe Saldana - Uhura)
Best Villain (Eric Bana - Nero)
Best Fresh Face Male (Chris Pine - Kirk)
Best "Rumble" (Chris Pine as Kirk vs. Zachary Quinto as Spock).

You "technically" have to be 13-19 to vote (all they ask is your birth date), and you can vote every day.

Cool! I'm only nine years too old for this.

Teen Choice Awards? Star Trek doesn't have a chance against the true world-class heavy-hitters of the motion picture industry -- Zac Efron, Megan Fox, Michael Bay, Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff...

I'm a few years over the line, but I voted anyway.

I'm really, really disturbed that they have a category for Favorite Celebrity Baby.

Not only I'm way too old for this but I also live in the wrong continent....LOL.

Oh well, with Twilight having 12 nominations, we know what's going to happen already. It's a bit like watching Titanic, really.....

Well, I just deleted a few years off my age. I just made myself sweet sixteen again, apparently. And seeing that list made me feel my entire twenty-two years. I hate to think what anyone older than me would think.

No Spocky-babe for Best Male? Boo. Well, I'll just have to give ZQ my votes for Best T.V. Villain and Rumble. And quite a few Heroes votes in there. And all the Star Trek ones (of course). Nerd media is seriously underrepresented.

It's really sad when Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron are lesser evils than some of the other choices. Cruel and unusual punishment! At least Britney, Beyoncé and J.T. had hits in a different decade. I'll give them votes for being the relics of the pop music scene alone. Any person who isn't a rapper pretty much got the lesser-of-evils vote. Now those choices make me feel like a tween again! They were around when I was a tween!

And wherever I saw a fogey (read: have been around long enough to actually do something with their careers), they pretty much got my vote. Go Molly Ringwald and Charlie Sheen! Now those are worth voting for! The '80s icons strike back!

And I will do anything, including voting for truly EVIL choices, over sparkly Twilight and it's truly awful actors. I just want Twilight to lose desperately. It is the mark when it comes to vampire fiction. It makes fans of the genre look bad.

Looks like Trek lost in all categories, the last three going to "Twilight," which won nine awards. I think Wolverine beat Trek in the first category.

Winning an award for being liked by teens is like winning a medal for coming last in a race.
