^ When your feelings inside make you treat people really bad to feel better about yourself, it's a real warning sign.
I've got something I sometimes talk about with my students and it goes like this: Imagine you're a pot. Every pot is made with as much water in it as the rest. But when other pots tread you badly, some of your water is taken from you. This makes you feel bad because the water is what keeps you happy. One way you can get water back is to take it from other pots. You do this by treating others badly and make them feel bad. At least you're not the only one who feels miserably then and you will then temporary feel better but the water will go foul, which will make you feel even worse in the long run. You should do something to get fresh water in your pot instead of trying to get more foul water. I've never tried to explain this in english, so I hope you understand. Also, we want to give you fresh water by being nice to you, but first you need to make the decision to be nice to us. You are the boss of you! You decide how you want to live your life.
