^Don't want to focus entirely on things from media; this is MISC, after all. Those might be better suited to TV & Media.

RJ, not sure about states or countries. How about decades? 50s, 60s, 70s, etc? That way, a little media could creep in, but also be about clothes, cars, and so on.

Auntiehill, how about film posters (the trick would be finding one that converts well to an avatar)? Best screen kiss? Or funniest trek screen capture (I'm sure there are a lot online already)?

Even though I didn't go for this idea, my av for the new contest is, wouldn't you know it, from a movie poster.
