Yep, it's David Bowie, genius musician, in one of his many incarnations: the Thin White Duke, say roughly from 1975 to 1977...

I had a hard time deciding, but I finally went with Capt Calhoun, Aragorn, and Litmus Dragon.

Very tough call here, and a lot of hair splitting went into my decision. Of all entries, I think auntiehill's Farrah Fawcett best fits the condition of being a very famous picture which is an indisputably quintessential image associated with a well known celebrity, which is how I finally decided to interpret the conditions of the contest. Other celebrities depicted in the contest, including Einstein, although for my entry I selected a relatively () famous picture of him, have more than one depiction of them competing for the status of being most iconic, and some other entries are perhaps themselves more famous pictures period.
