So I've thought about this for a couple days since seeing the trailer and I have a couple of thoughts..
Yes, the actors do a (remarkably) good job recreating the antics of the Stooges. I will give them full marks for that..
However, I just can't wrap my mind around the modern day setting.. For me, the Stooges will only seem right set in the late 30s in black and white. Same thing with the Little Rascals movie that was made back in the 90s (??)... Cute kids, cute dog, slapstick antics.. Just didn't look right with modern cars and color.
This will have to wait for Netflix, I'm afraid, unless it gets rave reviews.

Perhaps they should have gone all in on the concept and shot it in black and white and set it in the 30's.
