Virtual Enterprise D for Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force - WIP

If anyone is wondering, I'm setting this project in the latter part of TNG. So sets will look as they did after they were redressed after The Undiscovered Country was filmed.

As promised, here are some better lit screens of Ten Forward, with added crew members (I still haven't changed to stock VOY uniforms to TNG ones, sorry). And a side note, all the replicators work.

And here's a basic junior officer's quarters. It's on my agenda to make a replica of Data's, Worf's, and Geordi's quarters, but this is the primary template I'll be using.

And there's your standard PADD and desktop viewer.

Sweet! My favorite user-created maps on Elite Force are the ones where you have free-reign on a lot of the Constitution class Enterprise. This one could easily replace them on my list! :techman:

And here is what was definitely the easiest area of the ship to build thus far....

Nice! You know, I bet you could program the holodeck to do all sorts of interesting things... :D Would definitely make the map more entertaining!

Donny you should sell the sets to STO. I recently watched a video of their TOS sets and they suck and look really amateur compared to yours

How would I go about doing that?

EDIT: Oh, man. Just saw said video. The scale of their sets is all wrong. Horrible. I wish they would've contracted me to build them for em.

Yeah, STO sets are generally way bigger than they would be on the show. Ostensibly it makes pathing easier for AI, but I think it looks like poop, too. Details are great, but their scaling is ick. ...Sadly it's a necessity, though.

Your stuff, though, is absolutely great. Love this stuff.

For ultimate irony, make it so the holodeck takes you to the first level of EF single player.

Wow Donny, really impressive! Keep up the great work. Nice to see the Enterprise-D fully realized despite using the aging Quake 3 engine.

This is so awesome! I hope you can finish it some day, I'd love to stroll around the Enterprise-D.

So glad you are working back on the Enterprise D Donny. Great job too. Can't wait to give it a go.

Your Ten-Forward set looks absolutely amazing! This makes me wish that I could begin work on my replica of the sets!

Well, that you're setting this during the later parts of TNG and the crew is wearing the DS9/VOY uniforms makes it appear that this is set in the year 2371 (before Star Trek: Generations but after "All Good Things...")

I would love to see that corridor where Ten-Forward and the senior officer quarters are! The darkness in the rooms makes it look that much beautiful.

Pardon the pun, but in that first pic, that woman sitting closer to the camera looks like Ro Laren.

Like I said, I want to start on this project so bad but I want to layout a goal plan of what I'm going to do and how because I only have Anim8or and then plan to export everything to 3DS Max so it's nice and beautiful.

The reason that they are wearing DS9/VOY uniforms is because they came stock with the game Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force which is the base game I am using to build this mod. I have, since that post, changed the uniform textures to TNG-era ones, I just haven't uploaded any pictures yet.

I can't wait to see the bridge! How is it coming along?

I still haven't started on the bridge. The curved nature of it's ceiling, ceiling struts, and tactical wishbone railing are throwing my brain in knots. I just finished modelling a standard TNG turbolift and it proved to be a challenge due to it's curved nature. No worries though, I'll start on the bridge soon enough.

A small update. Finally completed the turbolift model. Believe it or not, it was very challenging to build.
