Viktor Tsoi...the Russian icon who revolutionized rock music in Soviet

Viktor Tsoi (1962-1990)...the Russian icon who revolutionized rock music in the Soviet Union was Korean.

It is surprising that he accomplished so much at such a young age before his death, and was way ahead of the curve than people who are actually older than him and went onto accomplishments later in life such as Barack Obama and George Clooney.

Here is biographical information on him.

This young man's life would make a fantastic biographical film if given the chance:

Re: Viktor Tsoi...the Russian icon who revolutionized rock music in So

I found another ethnic Korean named "Cui Jian" who is one of the pioneers of Chinese rock music and the first Chinese artists to write rock songs. He is known as "The Father of Chinese Rock."

When most Americans think of rock music being revolutionized outside of the United States, they usually think of the Beatles from Liverpool.

Just imagine so many rock music movements like this around the world. Not just Australia with groups like "Silverchair," but places like Khazakstan, Egypt, and New Zealand even. Awesome!
