Video game characters

Well, some of the alien species from Diane Duane's The Kobayashi Alternative game were used in her novel Doctor's Orders. And of course the Klingon and Starfleet Academy games were directly novelized. And the Millennium trilogy was loosely based on the same underlying concepts as the game The Fallen, and I think they had at least one species in common, the Grigari (although they may have originated in an earlier Reeves-Stevens novel). But beyond that, I'm not aware of any game characters appearing in books. But then, I haven't played most of the games, so I'm not an authoritative source.

The first couple of 'Millenium' books had almost the same plot as 'The Fallen'.

I'm surprised that at least one book was never made around Voyager's Elite Force. It would have put a different spin on Voyager.

I don't see how the Elite Force or Hazard Team or whatever could have "actually" existed aboard Voyager. If these "toughest and bravest" characters were part of the crew all along, how come we never saw them in seven years of adventures?

^They were formed offscreen in season 2 and spent a lot of time in Joe Carey's quarters thereafter.

Actually, two of the main Elite Force characters do appear in TV Voyager - Chell and Jurot (or Jarot).

As for other videogame characters, I'm thinking maybe Ryan Cooper (from Star Trek Invasion) might see the light of day again...
