Here are some pictures of the dump that hit us last night and today.

I lived in Victoria (well Saanichton, but that's close enough) for two years and we never had this much snow. And now that I'm back home we don't have much snow either. It sucks.

I DON'T LIVE IN VICTORIA TO GET FUCKING SNOWED ON!

For those of you who aren't familiar with the area, although in Canada we have VERY mild weather. The amount of snow we've gotten in the last week is probably double what we'd normally get all year, if we get any appreciable amount at all.

Poor baby, I spent the morning shovelling out 40 cm of snow.

December is so weird; this time last week it was 14C, it was -10C this morning and about 20 below with the wind chill.

Hey I wasn't whining, I was just a little surprized we got that much at this time of year.
I feel more for my Brother and sister in the prairies (Calgary & Brandon)they're putting up with
-27 or worse.

I once knew your pain. Then I got on meds, wised up and moved to someplace reasonable. That's what makes this so irritating.

I dug about 30 or 40 cm out the driveway myself today. Admittedly that's a few days accumulation. I don't drive, so I didn't bother until now, as I have people coming to visit.

Well the daily snowshowers seeme dto have finally stopped here. So now all we have to do is wait for the temps to go above freezign so it'll start to melt.

And then the flooding starts! Yay!

Reading that through... recent surgery.. bloody snow... are you sure they sewed everything up before you left?

We're under a freaking snowfall warning yet again.

We'd left the end of our driveway as the neighbour had done it the previous day with his plow, but he got some more work so hasn't come back... ugh, with the melting, it's all thick heavy snow and ice. Bleh.

Saturday, Saturday should be the day of freedom from this snowbound nightmare.
