Vick bankrupt, crocodile tears flow

He probably gets to work out in prison, so he should still be in pretty good football shape when he gets out. Does anyone know if he will be doing any extra time for the charges that the state may be throwing at him?

If he can get reinstated I'm sure somebody will probably take him on the cheap.

What a wonderful country we've become...a simple dogfighting case bankrupts you and now we're on the threshold of losing your job because of something you said offends someone.

He didn't get into almost $13 million of debt because of a dogfighting case. Sounds to me like he spent his money very foolishly, and now that he's in jail, has no income to satisfy his creditors.

And you can always lose your job if you shoot your mouth off at work. Employers aren't bound by the First Amendment.

The Panther's Steve Smith broke a teammates nose, he was given a 2-game regular season suspension and a 200,000 fine by the team. Many people around here think his penalty is to severe, especially since he is so important and vital to the chances of the team winning.

If people are willing to overlook what woud be an assault and battery charge in order to win, I'm sure many would be willing to overlook Vick's offenses as well.

Teams will often provide opportunities for individuals who can improve the chances for a team ability to win, and the public often will to.

Thus, the very understated personnel policy upon which the league has stood for many many years now and the main reason Vick will almost surely be given the opportunity to play again.

Personally, after he completes his sentence I see no reason whatsoever, he should not be given a second chance.
