Verizon V-Cast Commercials Airing!

I was just watching Stargate and saw my first Verizon/Star Trek ad.

It's an academy instructor telling cadets in a transporter that they will face "Peril" and what not. A cadet starts mocking him. They get transported to a planet surface and the cadet passes out!

Looked cool. So the BK and Verizon ads have officially started.

Remember a few years back some company was working on a cell phone that looked like a TOS communcator. Never went into production however. Pity. It would have been facinating. (sorry)

Just saw the Vcast commercial join starfleet and the burger kingon commercials on Stargate on Scifi (or whatever they are calling themselves now). The v-cast commercial was far, far better than the burger kingon one.
