Great episode. I still think Dr. O (& the Triad can tag along too) should get a spin off series!

See, I disagree. As much as I love the Triad, the writers have done a good job of not overusing them, which make them still welcomed and lovable characters.

21 may have carted him off, but it still doesn't ad up, 'cause Venture never once asked where his bodyguard -- who is being padi to do this -- is at. With non-replacable boys now in the complex -- a complex always under attack -- you'd think Venture would want to know where Sgt. Hatred is.
He may be at OSI getting more of his medicine.

I loved this one,the Triad is always fun to watch, plus it's fun hearing the same voice actor of ATHF's Shake do the Alchemist..because he sounds like a reasonable and likeable Shake.

Also like the development with Hank and Dean..they are clearly starting to break away from the original VB's and the other clones in their actions and are maturing..guess because they apparently have manage to stay alive longer than the other clones and so are getting a chance to grow up.

Next week is the mid-season finale with a showdown between 21 and Brock(yea he's back!!!)which may actually be a good fight with the changes that happen to 21.

Too bad we have to wait until summer next year for the second 1/2 of the season.:(

Seriously, this show takes 2 fucking years to animate one season, what, is Jackson Fucking Public personaly drawing each cell by fucking hand? </TheMightyMonarch>

^I do think that's a valid question. Whatever their logistics are, aren't really working very well. I'll grant that it's not nearly done on the same shoestring that most AS shows are done on, but still.

I wonder how much of the delay is from animation lead time and how much is from writing/plotting delays?

They don't have a huge production office to do this stuff. Most of it is run directly though Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer. The reason they have the break in this season is so there wasn't a long break between the seasons. The break between season 3 and 4 has been the shortest break so far, by about a year. Previously, the breaks have been two years between seasons. The fact they broke up the season, allows them to get episodes out sooner than normal.

Unlike other animated shows, TVB does not have a backup pile of episodes ready to be aired. They start each season mostly from scratch when the previous season ends due to Adult Swim's wait-and-see policy for official renewal, and they, wisely, don't start airing them typically until the entire season is mostly finished production-wise.

Also, according to Jackson Publick, the back half will air in spring, not summer. So, there won't be that much of a wait.
