I'd be curious to hear from anyone who has attended one of the Star Trek Las Vegas conventions in recent memory, as I'm planning to attend next year's in 2016.
With regards to admissions, I'm considering Gold or Captain's Chair. But would like some opinions on the perks:
I'd also love to hear general insider tips from past attendees. Things to skip, or things that are must sees. Unofficial/Non-Creation-Sponsored events or activities? Surviving Las Vegas in the absolute dead of summer.
Etc.
(I should note that I've been to a handful of conventions in my life, but it's been about 10 years since the last one. So I'm a little rusty.)

- Were the included autographs worth the extra expense (were they top tier guests or not so much)?
- How were the special/exclusive receptions? Worth it or just fluff?
