Vanguard: Declassified

My reactions, in order:

WOO! VANGUARD!

WOO! COOL IDEA FOR A BOOK!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! MARCO!!!!

I mean, I'm obviously thrilled that Dayton, Kevin, and David are writing more, but Marco was a surprise... and an EXTREMELY AWESOME one.

This is great. Next year is sounding more exciting with each announcement :)

Nice!

Glad to hear Vanguard is still a priority in Trek Lit.

Also glad to hear Marco will be penning one of the stories.

He's been missed.

I'll second giving him a stab at the DS9R

Holy crap, this sounds great.
Next year is starting to look like it will be really good year for Trek Lit. I'm really glad to see that Pocket is still willing to try something different when it comes to the books.

EDIT: Is it known yet if these are going to be released individually or in one big book like the MyrU and MU series?

Dayton Ward's blog indicates that the intention is to release all four stories as a single mass-market paperback, constituting the sixth entry in the series.

That's what's interesting for me, 3 books announced, all 3 are something unusual. I'm looking forward to everything announced so far but this one is at the top of the list.

Four, actually; the fourth is less unusual (Beyer is writing a third Voyager novel to follow Unworthy), but no less exciting :)

*runs around in a circle and does a happy dance*

I absolutely cannot wait for this book! :D
