Anyone catch Lativa vs.the Czech Republic? Latvia, was so, so close to pullling off a tremendous upset. Latvia came back from a 2-0 deficit in the third to force OT. Then at the beginning of OT, they shot one off the glass that riccocheted back over the net, bounced off of Vokoun, and rebounded just wide of the net.

I had it on, but I didn't really pay that much attention to it. I did hear them talk about Jagr, and my first thought was the hit he took the other night. I keep looking at the gifs to see if he had his head down.

Brave match of the Swiss team so far and excellent defending, including surviving 3 or 4 penalties in the second third I think without conceding a goal.
I don't really want them to win, but I want the US team to sweat a little. The Swiss don't have the offensive power of the Americans, but they make them work hard for the victory, and the still have a chance...

I'm guessing the USA will win this game comfortably in the end - at some point a defense like that just breaks down, but I like it that Switzerland didn't make it easy for them.
