How many Golds have Canada won in the last 24 hours. Feels like 8 or 9. What a run they are on.
Glad to see the US bobsled team win, but I really have to say after the first week and the sports that "we're" good at (Snowboarding and stuff), it's been a bit disappointing, especially the skiing. Still, having the overall medal lead is nice, but it's irrelevant. It's who has the most golds that are important.
So we've tied the record. Men's hockey final just became even more important!
I saw they replay he pushed ever so slightly on the other skater, so maybe that why the DQ?
That would be it. I dont know enough about the sport to say whether it was significant but the judge thought so. Seems plausible to me when you're enduring those kind of G forces on the turns that small pushes can send you flying.

This is the worst cover of Billie Jean I've ever heard but their skating is wonderful.
I'm rather glad he didn't, because it elevates his reputation by taking the high road.
Sincere congratulations to the Canadian Team for tieing the record for most winter games gold medals by a host nation. It's a cool thing and one that its well-deserved.!
