Vance's Schematics II

I must have grabbed the number early on or something... hmm... I'll fix it later. :)

I would love to see a light-cruiser variant on the Masao, with a small secondary hull and two nacelles on pylons like the Constitution.

Victoria class - I love TOS takes on later ships. :bolian:

Virtue class - Cool tip of the hat to the classic chronology Baton Rouge class. :bolian:

Masao class - Great shuttle bay and deflector dish locations. :bolian:
Never been a big fan of the dishes hung on spindly stalks in the Franz Joseph designs (Hermes/Saladin & Ptolmey) - always figured they needed some grunty component "guts" behind them.

Top shelf work in this thread mate!

Consolation Class (U)
Based on Festus's Kitbash

Derf isn't mine, though. That's from FASA, all the way back to the first printing of the RPG. Derf was the heavy survey vessel. Nelson was the scout. Shepherd was the escort. Larson the destroyer, and Loknar the frigate.

Vance I love your schematics, the designs you do look better than 90% of the canon designs. A question though,I have the Federation Ship Recognition Manual from FASA and it lists the Derf class as Bouy Tenders. Was it changed in later editions or is mine a miss print?

1st edition of FASA had the Derf listed as a Surveyor. The SRM that came out later relisted the Derf as a tender. The Derf, though, is fargin' huge as a mere tender, mind you...

Derf?! :wtf:
Are we running out of GOOD names?
Hey! Derf was a very famous Andorian noted for introducing his people to human culture. You haven't heard of Derf on Golf or Derf Goes Fishing?
