Vance's Schematics II

Cochrane Class Transport
FASA

Are there any major differences between this design and the Ascension class? I can't see any visible differences aside from the torpedo tubes sticking out farther.

There are actually some minor differences all around, but it's pretty clearly a lift from the Ascension class.

So were these three ships meant to be separate classes, or just testbeds derived from their respective designs (Ascension, Belknap and Knox)?

I think they're Starfleet Dynamics' "replacements" for the SFPO ships. They're only slightly different... and I know there was some sort of conflagration between them...

Well i own a copy of that book and i know there not in it

The version I have mentions that it includes material from the 'Enterprise Officer's Manual'. But, like I said, there's a lot of conflagrations between various fan parties and Mister Schmidt.

The Design is in the Revised edition of Star Fleet Prototype
put out by the same people who published Starfleet Dynamics.

ok i own the copy that has the Black and Gold color version that has 25th Anniversary edition on it
and now that i look at it i have a .pdf of the version you have i just noticed.....

There's a revised version of Starfleet prototype?

i thought there was only the 1 version?

can you post a .pdf of that if you have it?

I like Jackill's Comanche Class better. I hadn't really noticed before, but I think that design looks better with the little pylons connected to the third nacelle.

I suppose the Comanche will be tomorrow then. Not exactly that HARD to do... considering. :)
