Valley Forge class vessel

I know it's incredibly basic, but this is a concept Original Series gunboat I drew a few years back in pencil, which someone graciously translated using Vance's toolkit. I modified the engines to go more with my original concept of a slim-profile gunboat. I just thought I'd share it again with everyone. My original concept didn't have the neck itself, but it might be an interesting variant of the original ship.

Monmouth, NCC-1778
Chillicothe, NCC-1779
Camden, NCC-1780
Cape Henry, NCC-1781
Providien, NCC-1782
Cudalore, NCC-1783
(followed later by a few dozen additional ships, such as the Blandford, Pekowee, Beaufort, Brandywine, Hubbardton, and so on in the mid-to-late 2000s in registry).

Liking it - but I would highly recommend getting rid of the black splotches that used to be occupied by warp engine nacelles in different location. Aside from that, looks like a worthy cousin to the Loknar-class upgrade.

Edit - I would actually put those engines back where they originally were. The matter/energy acquisition sinks on starships (TNG calls them bussard collectors) should be generally clear of obstruction from the primary hull so they can maximize their intake. Placing them above the top surface of the primary hull was actually a better place for them than where they are now. Just a suggestion...
