Valiance-Class Battleship...

Two bridges? Is one for the fleet admiral?

The overall shape is very cardassian.

probably not two bridges . . . I'd imagine the offset one is the real bridge, and the traditional location of a bridge would be something like a sensor dome or somesuch
if it was a cruiser instead of a battleship I'd imagine it would be a neat place for an observation bubble or arboretum

or maybe it could be two bridges :D

Hmmm, I'm not so sure. Now that we know what we're looking at in the original side view, it looks like 2 bridge structures to me.

Reminds me of a couple of FASA RPG ships. I don't have the book (because I'm at work), but Starship Tactical lists them as the Lenthal and Thufir Class... I have to look at the book when I get home, because those names don't sound right. Then again, it's been a year since I looked at it.

I kind of like it. Not keen on that one "bridge?" offset location. It seems a little greebled out for my taste, but meh. Overall, it's a decent ship. Tough looking. I like the drawings more then the 1st image.
you are correct on the FASA ship names as they were of Andorian creation

you are very close, as it is a Conning tower (a huge sensor station)

see the above reply :)

I was thinking the same thing. I was going to say that it looks similar to the Northampton or Southampton, but the Lenthal is probably more like it. The command/saucer section on the other hand reminds me of the Larson class.

This pretty much throws any relationship to the Excelsior or Sovereign class out the window, coincidental similarities aside.
