For our Independence Day (July 4), we'll celebrate by blowing up the server.

I'm thinking we'll give everyone another couple of days to converse with their matches and see what you come up with, since there hasn't been a huge response yet and I don't want people to feel really pressed for time!
I'm really bummed that some of the matches didn't work out but I'd like to encourage you to PM someone else in this thread that was "stood up," so to speak. I think it's great that people are learning about each other, and I like that the rest of us get to read about what you have in common. That way we get to know you better as well!
At the least, I have made a cool friend, and it seems like Count Zero and CorporalClegg are getting to know each other, plus Gaseous Anomaly and macloudt are getting along. Not really clear on how iguana_teacake is going, though. 
Well, so far Trekker4747 and I have realized that we are both fans of TNG. In fact it was the formative show in our journey to becoming Star Trek fans. Also we both understand the 47 reference. Though, I would imagine that would be true of most fans of TNG who post here.

- We both like Physics, Astronomy and History.
- We both like cats.
- We are both Bronies (although I think my Brony status is probably more honorary).
