^ Generally by the time it becomes a foetus, the tail has been or is in the process of being reabsorbed. And human tails are never that long to begin with, proportionally to the rest of the body.

Adult Vs? Good question. I figure that to fit into human-skin suits, they must be, on average, somewhat smaller than us, but that still doesn't leave much room for a tail to be coiled around comfortably.
Perhaps they, too, lose their tails, albeit at a later stage in their maturation cycle. Note that we haven't seen any V children; Lisa is about the youngest V so far. (Of course, with human costumes, who knows if their outer appearances are truly a reflection of their age, even relative to one another?)

^ Tyler thinking his parents broke up because he had a bike accident is one of the dumbest things I've heard on this show, and this show had said a lot of stupid things. Maybe it would work better if he was 12, but certainly not at his age.
I also don't understand why they needed to capture a V. Don't they have a V who resisting for some reason? And even if he's out of the loop, can't someone on the ship tell them what's going on?

Yeah, it's not as if we've gotten a whole conversation out of the main cast yet. You would think the usual suspects would ask their resident fifth column members what he knows. Or is Anna the only one (inside any of the 29 ships orbiting Earth) with information beyond the level of "do what I say at this very moment"...? I suppose it's possible (given the level of control we've seen from Anna).
Edit: Is it sad that 90% of reason why I post in these V threads is to bitch about Tyler being an idiot/shmuck? I occasionally have other thoughts about this show...but it's really few and far between.
Crap, I forgot this was on.
Two things I liked:
1.) Laura Vandervoort in a Bra, pure WIN, she is one hot women.
2.) I liked that fact that Laura's character failed the emotion test, and what's his face lied for her, I like that she is becoming emotional and possibly leading to her joining the 5th column, or at least in some way resisting her mother and what the V's are doing here.

Father Jack doesn't have any pastoral duties, and doesn't even need to check in with his copastor. And since he apparently lives in the church itself, there's no housekeeper to make excuses to.
Chad Decker not only has no editors/producers, he is now walking into diplomatic meetings as a participant. When he asks questions of the Secretary-General, shouldn't his cameraman and soundman be a lot closer?
Erica Evans really doesn't have any superiors it seems. Other agents have to ask for her help.
Ryan has so little background I can't remember what he did besides knock up Valerie. It apparently involved being independently wealthy, because he doesn't have to work at it any more.
The characters are detached from any recognizable reality. I doubt any of the actors are really doing such bad jobs, given the awfulness of the material. Even the kid doing Tyler does okay: His problem is that he's doing a male ingenue, a character that stimulates heartfelt fears in his audience.
Who knew cell phones could locate the examining room you were in?

...or a replacement partner...or anything resembling normal responsibilities for an FBI agent...
By the way, are we supposed to be impressed that Erica stepped out in front of the guy with the gun (who was shooting at everybody)...? I realize that most cop shows use that cliche (to prove the "bravery" of the cop), but they don't usually go to those lengths unless the shooter has a hostage at gunpoint. Her actions seem like pure stupidity to me (especially when terrorist-dude was going around the corner to get the drop on the shooter).
This show is still fun, but there's something about Scott Wolf's on-camera (meaning, news camera) performance as Chad Decker that just seems utterly unconvincing as a guy who has this huge following of millions of loyal fans who believe everything he says.
He's awkward and off-putting. He should be much more like Anderson Cooper - exuding this kind of calm professionalism mixed with the ineffable sense that he cares, he really cares as he hypnotizes you with his oh-so-blue eyes.
That might be something that's very difficult for even an actor to re-create. If Scott Wolf could do it, he could probably switch careers and make millions on CNN.
Or maybe they should have had some fun with the role, and modelled him after Glenn Beck. That schitck isn't nearly as difficult to mimic.
