I think the writers of V r getting forgetful- the south african guy with the beard turns up at Erica's house bold as brass when he's the most wanted man in the world.

I still enjoyed this show. it's not as intelligent as BSG was but it's more easy to watch and enetertaining

Anna: "Prepare my plan to post on TrekBBS."

Marcus: "If you respond to J. Allen's post and he responds to yours, it means you can respond back and you'll be in communication with each other. Your plan is going to work, my queen."

Anna: "Never underestimate the power of using words. It is the best way to communicate on a text-based message board."

Nailed it.

This show is moronic. I keep watching just to see how dull and pointless they can make each episode. Seriously, this week we had a heist on a secret lab, genetic engineering and a plan for our heroes to attack evil space aliens with a genetically engineered virus. How do you make that boring? I couldn't tell you, but the writers of V sure can.

No Ordinary Family gives you something a week or two ago where a kid is shot because Jim deflected a bullet with his impervious skin and the kid got hit by the deflected bullet. Winds up in the hospital fighting for his life and at the end we find out he's going to survive and NOT ONLY THAT, but he had a tumor that never would have been found if they didn't have to open him up when he got shot... So the deflected bullet which shot him SAVED HIS LIFE!
Good...GORT!

Thank you for reminding me why I bailed on that show. It makes me feel less sheepish for not having bailed on this one too. :rommie:

So, the Visitors are basically a biological/non-cybernetic version of the Borg. They assimilate entire worlds (or at least the DNA they find there) in order to "improve" themselves. They even got a queen!

But yeah, the show has managed to become "dumb and entertaining" as opposed to the "dumb and boring" of Season 1.

Yeah, that's kind of disappointing. I was hoping the writers would come up with something we haven't seen on TV before. If the V's had a way of isolating and transferring souls with their crazy gizmos, in order to obtain immortality from a species (humans) that has it naturally (while they don't), then that would be something I cannot recall ever having seen in TV or movies. I wonder if it's ever been in novels, even. Seems like every possible sf/f idea has been at least in a novel.
