Humans are invited to stay on board the Visitors ships, courtesy of Anna. Valerie's pregnancy accelerates which raises concerns. Tyler discovers something he shouldn't.

meh... it's better than nothing, but it's mainly an Elizabeth-Mitchell delivery system for me still.

Above average.

I mainly am watching for Laura Vandervoort...entertaining show tonight though.

Last week's was excellent. Tonight's was below, so it got Above Average from me. I like the twists, and I like where things are going.

I went with Above Average for tonight. Lots of interesting developments, but nothing absolutely amazing. Am I the who won't miss Georgey if they do kill him off?

Well seeing as how Georgie isn't in the main credits, I guess it was only a matter of time. Also, since Marcus noticed boobies, I guess his time is coming to an end too.

The CGI is also pretty crappy. They're too concerned with the environment and not concerned enough about the actors in the environment.

I'm going Above Average.

I like where the show is going and hope it is able to survive long enough to tell its story.

I'll miss Georgie to some extent. He's the dedicated to the point of being over the top but that sometimes has some humor to it. Someone in thier little group has to pay a price eventually though, right? We were faked out with Jack so do they play that card twice so soon?

Liked the visual on Valerie's stomach showing the progression of the pregnancy. I'm wondering how they will handle that. If its born will it be quickly carried away somewhere in secret and we never see it on screen OR will we get a CGI rendering of the hybrid. Then there is the miscarriage scenario of course.

I really could care less about the Tyler angle as a Peace Ambassador. The only thing, and I mean only thing that makes him necessary is having Laura Vandervoot around.

Elizabeth Mitchell is really great as the lead and I'm curious to see where Scott Wolfe's character is going to go.

This was my first 'V' episode, and I have to say it looks pretty interesting....

Looking forward to the next episode.

And yes, I have seen the 'original' episodes; I'm of the consensus that believes the mini-series was better than the actual series.....

I'm glad that Kenneth Johnson finally got to realize his vision of a second 'V.'

The CGI is also pretty crappy. They're too concerned with the environment and not concerned enough about the actors in the environment.

I think it's the lighting and the shadows but the actors just seem to be floating on top of a picture sometimes.

Argh! Completely forgot it was on last night! :scream:

Network scheduling is so useless to me these days. I've already stopped watching regular broadcasts of Caprica and Human Target because I can never be bothered to tune in when the network wants me to, and downloading and streaming is just a pain in the ass where I'm at. Hopefully it'll get a replay, otherwise this'll be yet another show I'll have to put aside until the DVD/Blu Ray shows up later...

Christ, I didn't realise this.

I interviewed the guy a few years ago about his ambitions for V, and from a distance, I just assumed this was it.

Bugger.

Below Average.

This show started off well enough, but it's slowing down and getting dull now.

I started to post, but realized that criticizing V is like kicking a stray dog. Elizabeth Mitchell/Joel Gretsch/Morena Baccarin are good to see, anyhow.

I noticed that too. I usually can deal with iffy effects, but this was really distracting. Did the effects get worse or something? Because I don't remember it being this distracting before.

Hmm, I don't remember. But if not, that could be part of why it looked so fake.
