What about the rules for surviving a monster movie as told by Jamie Kennedy from Scream?

The only reason Humanity lost is because Erica slept with that Hobbs bloke.

If you liked the actor he was in a Prisoner ripoff last year called "this is not my life" where he is allowed to use his real New Zealandish accent.

I was initially happy to hear about Jane Badler's participation in this series, then disappointed when all she did was sit in her slimy cave like cell talking to Anna and later Lisa. When she finally does make it out of there, she's killed off minutes later.

A great death, yes, but what a total waste of a good actress.

A major waste considering all she did in her cave was spout generic exposition and make obvious statements.

The other thing I would have liked to have seen is a scene between Jane Badler and Marc Singer--just a small scene, something for the old-school V fans like myself. Too bad his total contribution to the season is less than 2 minutes running time.

Now even if the show returns (which is doubtful) I guess I won't get my wish, short of the writers bringing Diana back from the dead.

Maybe it's just me, and I'd hate for Tyler to be alive...

But when "Lisa #2" was presented to Anna by Joshua, I got the impression that it was in fact Lisa pretending to be the newly hatched queen and that everything that transpired was a faux-creation to dupe Anna.

It's doesn't exactly track with how the Lisa in the dungeon responds to Anna, BUT then I remembered the line about giving the new queen the relevant memories she'd need. What if that did in fact happen but in reverse, so that the new queen thought she was in fact Lisa... and was watching Tyler, etc. etc.

It's just tripy enough with all the "V science" they throw around to work.

Thoughts?

That really sounds like it would work except....Tyler is dead . The real Lisa would not have killed him. Unless the whole scene with Lisa and Tyler mating was staged????

So... where was the science boy? I thought it was funny when Dianna said she wouldn't tell them the plan until everyone was togther... but he was not there. At least I don't recall him there.

I thought it was rather amazing that the two FBI agents were ant-V as well. And why not foreshadow that?

My bullshitometer went berserk.

Remember the Initiative form Buffy, when they said the professionals had arrived and that her hobby was redundant? Well that' what I thought of Erica walking into that bunker. She thought she was a big girl, but it turns out that the grass roots civilian resistance she'd stumbled onto and assimilated was still just sound and fury so that the Majestic 12 and the Illuminati could actually prime the rsponse mankind had been setting up for quite some time.

All those governments and the Pope... They're not jellyspines, assholes or idiots. They knew a proper response was coming and they had to be patient whiel they were being invaded or the war would be lost.

Keyser Soze.

Ryan should have killed his daughter the first time he was left alone with her because he loved her. The kid was being tortured and he was being used like a punk. Killing her would have saved the day half a season before all was lost.

Well, there's always been a mystery about what her Boss was hiding (Is he a V; Is he a V Sympathizer, Is he a moron who doesn't notice things). So, that's kinda multipurpose foreshadowing, while keeping the mystery alive until the last second

Plus, remember how stupid it was that the ones investigating her were taken in so easily about her innocence once she got "kidnapped" and lost her ex-husband, who she was reuniting with. Maybe the writing wasn't as bad as we were led to believe, and we were fooled into believing that, and missing this twist.

I'm curious to re-watch the scenes of their investigation, to see if the scenes can be interpreted in this way.

It's hard to foreshadow when you are making stuff up on the fly.

Ha! That's true. :)

Sometimes when they make stuff up as they go, it works and for me, this did not work.

Though it would be interesting to see their reaction when she tells those FBI guys that her last two partners were Vistors.

Some friends and I just finished watching S2. We decided to DVR it and watch it straight through in just a few sittings, also in case it got yanked early we weren't left hanging...as bad.

Some of the CGI is still uneven and while the writing may not be airtight I felt it flowed better watching the episodes in a tighter space like we did.

Love how Bret, the scientist they track down to explain Red Sky, has become by the end a master of all things "science-esque". Several shows use this crutch but it's fun each time.

How exactly did Ryan survive that warehouse explosion in episode 7 again? I was ready for him to be dead then.

Too way, way too long for Tyler to finally die.
Felt like killing his father off was too easy. Maybe I just like the actor, Nicholas Lea, from his X-Files days but felt having him around added a tad more angst for Anna.

Love that by the last episode we have a reveal of the secret government group who have been on to the V's from the start AND Marc Singer is in a prominent role.
Love that in theory we now have a bad Lisa/good Lisa. Dual role for Laura Vandervoort would be awesome in a S3 plus more of Project Aries and Marc Singer.
Anna tells Marcus to not betray her again but we know he thinks of Diana as his queeen. Perhaps he gets her "healed" off camera for S3, could happen, it's sci-fi afterall.

I really think as uneven as V has been for this revival there are more than enough pieces in place to have a really great S3. As it stands now, if it isn't renewed, it will appear as if the V's have won. Maybe this was the ploy by the creative team to at worst give them a chance to come back and wrap it up for the good guys.

It's odds aren't great I know but count me as one who thinks if done right S3 would be able to smooth over the rough spots of the first two seasons.

Even the Visitors need to work nowadays. High Commander Anna (Morena Baccarin) appears on tonight's episode of The Mentalist, and her character's name is Erica (her daughter's name on V).

Actually her daughter's name is Lisa. Erica as the name of the FBI/resistance leader played by Elizabeth Mitchell.
