I hate Chad, he's terrible, but I did like the fake-out he played on his co-anchor.
JAY-zus, how stupid was she?? :rommie: Do real journalists just listen to random gossip in the studio and immediately report it as news? (Other than Fox, I mean, who the hell knows what goes on there.) Forget Chad trying to double-cross her, what if he was just wrong? Whatever happened to checking sources?

Is the show a special Commentating Segment, or are they both supposed to be reporting Hard News as Anchors?

If it's Commentating, she's on the losing side of the debate with Public Opionion (Preaching to the Choir) so, the debate couldn't really lose anything Politically with taking the chance (even if the charge proved to be false, they may convince a few more people that Anna's explanation is a coverup). If this was the case, she shouldn't have been fired, she could claim debating technique.

If they're supposed to be Hard News Anchors, then I'll shut up now (Though, I have to point at the dishonesty in Chad's reporting, LOL)

What is this show about, again? They change premises every week. :rommie:

You know a story is badly written when the big dramatic tension hinges on someone's cell phone being off. :p
And the big, detailed, complicated, convoluted plan (requiring forged work passes and not one but 2 inside men), to sneak nerd boy into the facility to sabotage the reactor....followed in nano seconds by 4 grown arse adults with guns causally sneaking their way in, no problemo.
I swear I actually busted a gut watching all that... :rommie:

How is Lisa supposed to be Queen if she doesn't understand the technology at her fingertips?

Though i suppose by Ryan and Lisa were born after the mission on Earth started.

Okay, so they didn't figure out how to turn the generator into a cannon, and hey didn't figure out how to turn the generator into a/many bomb/s they could trigger remotely after the ship/s had landed.

Ridiculous.

I don't get the sense that Lisa has the killer instinct necessary to be Queen of a large society of ruthless alien insect-lizards. Unless they're getting wimped out by human emotion, the V's seem like they'd be hard to control because they expect the Queen to rule with an iron fist (or tail). If she did overthrow Anna, I wouldn't bet on her lasting long in the role. Either Diana would exercise the true power behind the throne, or Lisa's sister-queen growing in that egg would take over, or both.

Though i suppose by Ryan and Lisa were born after the mission on Earth started.

Ryan is Diana's offspring, not Anna's, so he must have been born significantly before Lisa.

The knowledge-transfer between generations seems a bit suspect. I get the sense that Anna is keeping this generation of Vs rather ignorant and has no intention of handing over power to the generation (if at all possible). That's probably why Lisa knows virtually nothing about anything of significance.

Hubby and I found it very odd that, while the Visitors had the construction site and reactor heavily guarded, yet, when the entire precious blue-energy reactor is about to go critical---not one single Visitor comes running into try to stop it. The rebels stand there arguing then Ryan takes a few minutes to deactivate, but NO ONE comes in, no alarms go off. You'd think SOMEONE would be monitoring the reactor, somehow.

Plus the big, brightly colored sign saying "REACTOR ROOM" was very helpful.

It seems odd that the ships don't already have their own functional reactors, and one of those spaceships should really be able to land in any open field.

Yeah. The whole time I was watching that scene, I expected a Visitor to burst into the room to try and shut it down, but nothing. I wasn't too fond of this episode, aside from the wonderful screen time from the lovely Morena Baccarin, Laura Vandervoort and Jane Badler. *wistful sigh*

I definitely want the Visitors to win, but in a Laura/Diana way and not an Anna way. The humans, in my opinion, have done more harm than good, and keep shooting themselves in the foot. They're like the F-Troop of resistance movements.

They're like the F-Troop of resistance movements.

Maybe that's the deliberate point they are trying to make, maybe that's why Lars enters the scene in the finale (Maybe if it's renewed, the plan for S3 is going to involve professional/Military run Resistance)

I don't even understand why the Visitors need these towers to land their ships on. Why can't they just use the shuttles to land troops? Crazy aliens.

The ships turn into blue energy broadcasting pylons.

A. Thus their tech will now work world wide as a powersource or as a weapons platform that can single out any sincle cubic inch of erathican air with weaponized blue energy.

B. They're Vogons. they have to blow up the earth to move onto their next world.

Just watched this episode and I gave it an "excellent" for V. Probably my favorite episode of the series so far. Next episode looks awesome.
