V casting news (post-Badler)

Temis the Vorta

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Brett Harrison is joining as a recurring character.

According to a V insider, Harrison will play Dr. Sidney Miller, an evolutionary biologist who may have the scoop on what caused the sky to turn red in the finale.

Harrison’s character first shows up in the season 2 premiere (slated for November) when Erica (Elizabeth Mitchell) shows up on his doorstep looking for answers.

Good news because Harrison is a likeable actor (envision the polar opposite of the guy who plays Tyler :D), this plotline implies that Erica may be getting smart about how to fight the V's or at least is trying to learn new and important info, and I always like seeing an actual scientist character in sci fi. Why is that so uncommon on TV? :wtf:

Between this news and Badler, I'm getting more antsy about the show's ratings. Where they left off last season, I wouldn't have much cared if the show ever came back.

You know I wonder if they plan to release a Season 1 on DVD a few weeks prior to S2 starting. Like you and most people who stayed with V I kept hanging in there and getting mediocre episodes the last 3-4 shows.

I wonder if watching them back-to-back-to-back would make them flow better. Plus it would also allow people who might want to jump on board a chance to view them via Netflix or purchase. Maybe casting news has them interested like this latest announcement. Not to mention the Diana casting from a few weeks back.

Couldn't hurt at any rate.
