Ummmmmmmmmm, I'm bored already

I found myself looking at the wall actually, and I forgot for a moment there that there were actually spaceships hovering over the major cities

This C4 plot is stupid and is taking away from the fact THERE ARE SPACESHIPS HOVERING OVER THE MAJOR CITIES

It's like everyone is just oblivious to it, going about their normal routines

I'm pulling my hair out here, frustrating

I think the lame sf fan comment noted above is part of it... this is actually an alien invasion show where people have seen alien invasion shows, which is somewhat refreshing...

Yea, and then cut to everyone just staring up at the giant alien ship when it may have been about to shoot a giant plasma beam down on everyone... WTF? Why weren't people freaking out and running away. lol

I mean, days after the ships arrive and we're just totally cool with sending tour-ships to a friggin' space-ship!

In the real world, our governments would never allow humans, beyond ambassadors, to visit the ship within a few days time. Heck, even then they'd assist all meetings be held in secure locations on the ground where they can control things.

They'd still be dragging their respective militaries back from the triggers for at least a week...

Other than the tunnel and the hideout, everything else looks scrubbed clean and TV-ish.

Is this show about alien Visitors or is this a cop show?

I keep forgetting there are aliens involved and space ships up in the sky

Amazing.... how did I not know that in addition to Moreena Baccarin, this show also stars Alan Tudyk?!?!

I feel like everyone in this show is on some kind of tranquillizer or something.

Maybe that's exactly it. As I recall, it did seem people were about to start panicking until the bottom of the ship was all alight. Maybe there's some kind of psychotropic or hypnotic effect in play. If that's what it is, it could actually add a lot of tension to the show by isolating those characters who are unaffected. Kind of an invasion of body snatchers mystique.

Of course, if not written well, it could really drag the show down.

And if that's not what's going on, then yeah I agree humanity's reaction is extremely unbelievable.

Except that you could say that "E:FC" did the same with the original "V", couldn't you?

I think it's sort of like Scream in that regard. In one scene from that movie, the heroine is trash talking horror films by saying that in real life, the blonde babe would be running out the front door instead of upstairs and blah, blah. But two minutes later, she gets attacked. And where does she run? Up the stairs ... lol.

Here's a speculation... the "sleeper cell" is intended to commit a terrororist attack against the Vs and thus require a crackdown in response...

I'm a bad PC boy, I actualy kind of like the Mac/PC ad where we keep flashing back to other PC vs. Mac moments with PC touting the virtues of the newest MS OS.

Its like the entire series is unfolding in the pilot, everything happening way to fast, no build up for anything, the reptilian reveal should have come much much later
