A couple review snippets:
We've seen the pilot, and on a scale of 1 to 10, we give it an 11. V is the best pilot we've seen in, well, forever.

serialized storytelling...

...features a knockout performance (in more ways than one) by Morena Baccarin as the cool, beguiling alien leader.

similarities?
one could throw in "District 9" and the closer parallel to "The Twilight Zone" episode "To Serve Man,"

Isn't it a tad early to start a discussion thread when the show doesn't air until Tuesday?

Should I just go ahead and give it an "Excellent" for Elizabeth Mitchell's rocking body?

From Us Weekly, couldn't find any larger versions:

Going by with other sites say, it was an Us Weekly photoshoot from 2008. There are two more pics if you want to search for them.

We're all really really excited at the possibility of a decent, and fun, and highly watchable sci fi show being launched. :rommie:

Man it seems like EONS. The last one was Lost (or BSG, which one was later?) Heroes could have been, but it let us down so badly. FastForward is already showing signs of failure. Skiffy? Wasteland!

I'm looking forward to it but I'm not hopeful about the ratings. I hope that they're good, but its opposite heavy hitter NCIS...

It's FlashForward... you'll get it one day.

I'm excited about this... but not too excited. I'm already not too thrilled with the scheduling.

Does anyone suspect that one of the humans trying to rally people against the aliens is actually the re-imagined Martin? And then when they discover who he is, they'll try to kill him but someone will come to his rescue at the last second? That's how I'd write it.

I dont know..but as long as the V babe is a lesbian, I will be happy...

Didn't stop Harriman.
 Well said.

And so say we all!

Robert, I was actually talking about something similar to that a few days ago with a Muslim friend who rolled his eyes all the way around at least three times. I postulated that it was possible that first Jewish Kosher concessions against Pork might have been because someone in power was having sex with a pig and didn't want to have to murder and devour his lover to keep up appearances.

I was making a ham and cheese sandwich at the time.

I suspect her interest in humans will be culinary. :rommie: And that Scott Wolf is the top of the menu. But the writers won't miss out on a chance to shoehorn all sorts of slashy fun into the inevitable scenes with Morena & Elizabeth. Isn't that why they made the antagonist and protagonist both female? They ain't dumb!
