What is the setting you are using for your ships? some of the descriptions read like Battletech.

You haver merged the raised hull section of the Reliant with that of the Sovie', but in a novel way. The structures almost seem 'aimed' at port and starboard, which is new. Good places for side firing munition emplacements we really haven't seen much of.

Hmm, never really thought of it like that... it was manly to make room for the hanger bays and doors. loosely based on how the Chandley was set up, with hanger/holodecks over the rear half of the sauce section... some other issues have come out with this render, will refine it some more with the next drawing, and straighten out the lower nacelle arms and show off my giant deflector dish
