Those are the ones. If you look at those four line drawings in that link you provided, my version of the Legacy was intended as an amalgamation of the two concepts on the left hand side.

Hi everyone! My bridge design for this ship is still rendering. So whilst I'm waiting for those to finish, I've made some little 'posters' for the ship. I know that there was a game called 'Star Trek: Legacy', but I've made these as if to promote a new game or series.

I'd like to see more of Sternbach's future ships designs from the back of his Chronology.

Very nice looking ship, The Galaxy class' little sister really. I like the compactness of the ship, I don't mind the wings protruding through the nacelles either. If i had to nitpick at one thing though, I reckon the neck is possibly too narrow for the rest of the ship (judging by the front profile).

And if the forward module cannot be nominally separated from the star drive module, why the redundant impulse engines? It's a nice Galaxy-class touch, but it suggests that maybe the modules can separate.

I'm always glad to see TNG era starships. We never really saw any on the show except the Galaxy class and a couple kit-bash ships (Nebula, New Orleans)

Anyway, this ship looks amazing.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I guess I'm open to the idea of saucer separation.... I do believe that the New Orleans class has a similarly narrow neck profile though. Whether that class has separation capabilities, I cannot say for sure. However it does provide a precedent of a similar arrangement.
