Well, put in a whole bunch of ad-blocker software and all that, so I decided to try to give TrekBBS another go for now. To 'celebrate', I decided to start off with something silly yet appropriate.. the Kelvin! Unmastered!

Indeed it does. It would fit well in FJ's SFTM.

Vance, change the registry to NCC-00514. That should stir-up someone's dysfunction.

I actually went back and forth on redoing the registry to make it 'fit' with the "Universe according to Franz", or switching the numeral 'O' to a 'D', or SOMETHING, but ultimately decided to just leave it as is.

I do find it funny that a lot of people really do prefer the Kelvin to the Enterprise for this film... I really do think that it's the secondary hull on the 'lead' ship that's killing the look for everyone (myself included), though the TMP parts bolted on don't help. :S

My biggest beef with the lead ship is the secondary hull. It just looks squished.

Shorten the secondary hull, add a nacelle, and you have a much classier-looking Spitfire by Starscape!

Really nice, although i think this ship is supposed to be slightly older than Constitution. So i would probably would use components, that are halfway between Baton Rouge or Horizon and Constitution (Cage era) .

hmm...maybe i will try my hands on this, if i find the time.

Sorry, no offense to the OP, but this ship looks like it's just a boring re-arrangement of Constitution class parts (which it is), while the Kelvin is much more unique.

LOL! I love it! Though I would have preferred US Air Force-style lettering to the Microgramma. I look forward to additional ship designs from you Vanguard.
