USS Horizon

Has there ever been a decent model kit of the USS Horizon (as seen on Sisko's desk) released?

Hmm, I'd checked there and could only spot a wee 4 inch one. I'll have another look.

If you're running a search, remember it was a Daedalus (sp?) class. Often, the kits are listed by class only.

Federation models has just one at the moment, a 4" one from "Nova Hobbies"...

There have been several larger versions produced by various "garage kit" makers, but none of them except for the one above is still is production, it seems.

Of course, the version seen on Sisko's desk was really a kitbash, so your best bet to match that would be to buy the appropriate "Space Shuttle" model kit and use it as a conversion base, just like the guys who did the "Sisko" model for DS9 did. (The nacelles are converted SRBs, and the secondary hull is the shuttle fuel tank. The front end of the secondary hull is a piece of plumbing hardware.)

I remember seeing that model at the Hilton in 07. I enjoyed The Experience, damn shame about it.
