USS Horizon NCC-73624

Pleiades

Ensign
Newbie
Poke. Hello guys and girls. I'm new here. :D

Here is my ship.

My take on the titan, renamed to the horizon.

Here it is now. I decided the ship looked like a meerkat on the bottom, so I have decided to redo the ship in nicer ways.

What do you think?

I'd go with traditional dorsal-position swept-back nacelles with the bussard collectors just a few inches above the saucer section impulse vents. I'd like to see tri-nacelle / quad-nacelle versions of this ship.

Well I like the fact that the nacelles are on the bottom. Becuase of the style it just becomes another Legacy,Enterprise look alike. A lot of this ship is based on new priciples but I also wanted some new design elements that make it special, like the impulse engines. This ship is a lot more designed and styled. Each bit of it takes ages for me to decide on, I can go through several different versions of the same thing before I am happy..

Perhaps its possible to do two varients, keep the Hellsgate variant with the nacelles upward but the main version has them down.

Example, seven months after first thinking about the pylons I think I have a shape I am happy with....
- Added some detail to the pylons
- Added some character to the nacelle grille glow, I found how far it goes can change its mood
- Added a new cut out part about the rear saucer thrusters
- Changed the panneling on the front to be a bit more styled.
- couple of other bits...

Good stuff! It looks like a better version of the Luna class Titan. I love how it swoops down under the saucer and then back up to the secondary hull.

You might not be taking suggestions. . . but I wonder if it would look good with the rear-most section of the secondary hull at a slightly higher elevation/angle. Maybe on the same level as the saucer section.
